Combine Records

Combine Records command combines records of one app to the records of another app. Combine Records command needs to be connected to two input data sources.

Settings
Setting Description
1. Which field should be included in this append? Set how to select the fields to be kept while combining the records.
  • INCLUDE FIELDS FROM DATASET
    Select an app to maintain the field structure. Output is generated with field structure of the selected app.
  • FIELDS TO INCLUDE
    • Include all fields
      Include all fields of both apps in the output data.
    • Only include shared fields
      Includes only common fields of both apps in the output data.
2. Review the changes that will be made to each dataset. Displays the changes in input data while combining records. There is no setting to be done in this.
Behavior of Each Combining Method

This example demonstrates different behaviors on selecting different options in 1. Which field should be included in this append? with the help of an example in which a part of Input Data 1 of existing customer app is different from Input Data 2.
